- Use Windows File Copy - Selecting this tells compare copy to use the built in windows APIs to copy files. Choosing this option will not allow you stop copying in the middle of a file copy. When stop is clicked during a synchronization process, the program will stop once the file copy is complete.
- Use Built in File Copy - this tells compare copy to use its built in copy routines and also allows the user to set a buffer size. Using the built in option gives the ability to interupt a copy process in the middle of a file being copied. For instance, if you are copying lots of large files (ie cd images) you may want to use the built in copy option. This way, if you need to stop the process in the middle of a large file copy, it will stop quickly. Using the Windows file copy in the same situation will not stop the process until the file copy has completed.
